Stop Press Meditation

Ever heard of Meditation?  Of course you have.  Ever thought it is something that an ancient looking Oriental person would do but not you?  We would imagine so.  But Meditation is a process and a system that we can ALL use and very importantly ~ ‘benefit’ from.

We all want to attain a state of happiness that’s free from all strains and stresses.  Yet we constantly live and abide with our fears, concerns, worries, pressure, strain, anxiety and the general struggle of life. Why? Because the vast majority of us do not 'live in the moment’.

What do we mean by the term ‘living in the moment’?  Well, a simple analogy is……. let’s say your phone bill has just arrived and it’s huge.  You start to worry about paying it in a week or so or by being cut off when you don’t or can’t pay it.  You are living in the ‘then’ ~ in some future point in time.   When we do this we start splitting ourselves and driving ourselves in all sorts of different directions.  This highlights our not being fully in the ‘present’ because we cast ourselves about and become so very fragmented.

Imagine then yourself as a crystal, multi-faceted, shining and brilliant.

Now imagine that crystal split in to many fragments or shards.

Normal living has a habit of splitting us in to shards, our partner, children, the car, the traffic, shopping, work and relationships, coming home to the mail behind the door, disappointments, stress, strain, worries, anxiety, etc, etc.  The list goes on and on.  Life is a wonderful journey but it can be toilsome, draining and fragmenting.

So what can we ~ each individual ~ do in regaining and reshaping our wholesome self?

Meditation…. Meditation is a process by which and through which, with practice and awareness, can bring reforming benefits that are enduring.

This is a programme of study to compliment our personal development to different levels.
